Almost Dry Exhibition

Almost Dry was my first successful exhibition and social gathering presented at the West End Elliot Overlook on May 22, 2026. The day presented challenges with the rain but family, friends, future collaborators and collectors, made it a memorable evening. I'm very grateful for all who came out to support although the rain left us all Almost Dry!

Almost Dry is a series that showcases vibrant color palettes and embraces imperfect creativity. It resonates with the idea of adapting to difficult challenges in life, where we often seek perfection without acknowledging the growth and beauty found in imperfection. The textured gesso border symbolizes barriers that stagnate growth. The intentional bleeding of color and rough sketch searches for connection with the viewer's gaze, while adding purpose through implied movement and transformation. Almost Dry is the unconscious desire to continue to progress through your unfinished story.
